Our Story

The Novora story

Most people are trying to look after their mouth with tools that were never designed to work together. A toothbrush handles the surfaces. The gaps between the teeth get left to a length of string that snaps, shreds and makes the gums bleed, so most people quietly give up on it within a week. The tongue, where a huge amount of the bacteria that causes stale breath actually sits, gets ignored completely. That is the half-clean mouth, and it is the reason breath turns stale by lunchtime even when you brushed properly that morning.

We started Novora because that gap made no sense to us. You do this routine twice a day, every single day, for your whole life. It should feel complete, and it should be quick enough that you actually stick to it when you are exhausted at 9pm. Instead people are left guessing whether they missed a step, buying tools one at a time, and never quite sure their whole mouth is genuinely clean.

So we built one complete set that covers all three zones. The teeth, the gaps and the tongue, done properly, in a routine that takes about two minutes. No wrestling with string floss that cramps your fingers. No wondering what you skipped. Just a clean that reaches everywhere it needs to and leaves you with that just-left-the-dentist smoothness you usually only feel twice a year.

The standard we hold ourselves to is simple. Every part of the set has to earn its place, has to be easy enough to use when you are tired, and has to leave your whole mouth feeling genuinely clean, not partly clean. That is the only version of this we were interested in making.

What you get is a mouth that feels smooth when you run your tongue across your teeth, breath that is still fresh when you lean into a meeting at 2pm, and a check-up where there is nothing to scrape and nothing to explain. Fresh breath and a clean smile are part of feeling put-together, and we think you should have that every day, not just for a few days after the hygienist.
